Playoust Churcher year in review - 2021

If 2021 has reminded us of anything, it is that the willingness to adapt and adopt a growth mindset can result in greatness.

At Playoust Churcher, we spent a lot of energy in 2021 expanding our offering to propel our clients towards their dream homes, while remaining steadfast in our commitment to the unique Playoust Churcher process.

Single residential projects

We are extremely proud of the design, build and completion work of four single residential projects this past year.

They were mainly for alterations and additions, and the partnerships we created with these clients will hopefully remain well into the future.

We are excited to kickstart multiple single residential projects early in 2022. Our team has already started design work across 15 new projects, stretching across the whole of Sydney’s North Shore and Northern Beaches.

These projects range from heritage conservation areas through to beach homes, and will include alterations and additions, through to large estates.

Designing with intergenerational living in mind allows our clients to enjoy flexibility within their homes for as long as they – and the generations after them – live in them.

Multi-residential projects

We have enjoyed an uplift in the number of multi-residential projects we undertook in 2021, with design work starting on a number of luxury boutique projects.

These include luxury units and townhouses on the Upper North Shore and eight luxury units on the Lower North Shore.

Our team is excited to increase our capacity for work across a range of multi-residential and small boutique luxury projects, alongside residential specialists.

The world is our oyster

We seamlessly adapted to the challenges that COVID brought along and came up with innovative ways of handling our projects.

More importantly, the pandemic has shone the spotlight on our ability to work remotely with our overseas clients.

Doing this creates near-infinite opportunities for us and our clients because it removes so many barriers.

We used sophisticated technology to deliver projects in Sydney for our clients who are currently in countries such as China, Hong Kong and Singapore. We have been able to deliver projects successfully for remote clients for many years and will continue to do so for years to come.

We have developed our unique architectural process to facilitate remote work effectively.

By following our six stage process closely, we continue to deliver consistently successful outcomes.

Our 3D design capabilities help our clients – near and remote – to visualise their homes and ‘walk’ through every space. This gives them confidence in the process, knowing we are detail oriented and can deliver a home that fits their lifestyle.

Expanding in 2022

At Playoust Churcher, we pride ourselves on remaining flexible in our team, our work and our capabilities. In 2021, we welcomed Luke Beasley to our team. He is an extremely talented architect with many years of experience in residential projects.

We are working hard behind the scenes to further expand our offering across the architecture and interior design disciplines. Our growing client base and expansion of our service offering are prompting exciting internal growth, which will mean even more robust and streamlined solutions in the year to come.
