Concept: Creating a light, airy, character-filled three-level Hampton-style beach home on a small corner site
From vision to completion, our projects have been a testament to the trust our clients place in us, the innovation that drives our designs, and the proven process that ensures we deliver on every promise.
This year, we have proudly completed stunning projects across Sydney’s most sought-after suburbs, each one bringing unique challenges and opportunities for creative expression. The two completed homes in Killara and homes in Gordon, Allambie Heights, Northbridge, Pymble, Wahroonga, and McMahons Point showcase the versatility and excellence of our team, demonstrating our commitment to turning dreams into reality.
These homes are more than just structures—they are reflections of our clients’ aspirations and our passion for design. From the heritage charm of McMahons Point to the leafy serenity of Wahroonga, each project has been crafted with care to balance functionality, beauty, and the unique character of its location.
Even as we celebrate these milestones, we are firmly focused on the future. Currently, four exciting projects are either under construction or about to break ground in Seaforth, Killara, Wahroonga, and Naremburn. Each project represents a fresh opportunity to collaborate with clients, explore innovative ideas, and push the boundaries of what is possible in residential architecture.
2024 has not been without its challenges. Navigating the complexities of council approvals is ever-evolving, and this year was no exception. However, through persistence and expertise, we have successfully secured Development Approvals across multiple council areas, including Ku-ring-gai, Northern Beaches, Willoughby, and North Sydney. These achievements cement our dedication, relationship building and thorough understanding of local planning processes, ensuring our clients’ visions are brought to life without compromise.
Looking forward, 2025 is already shaping up to be a busy year. We are in the design phase for several breathtaking projects in Killara, Roseville, Warrawee, Lindfield, Wahroonga, Terrey Hills, and Freshwater. These projects represent the next chapter of our journey, where innovation meets timeless design, and we are honoured to be entrusted with these bold and inspiring visions.
None of this would be possible without our clients. Your trust in Playoust Churcher Architects drives us to exceed expectations at every stage of the process. It is your aspirations that inspire us to innovate, refine, and deliver homes that are not just places to live, but spaces to thrive.
From concept to completion, we remain committed to creating homes that are as unique as the families who inhabit them. Here’s to another year of shaping dreams into reality—together.
