A major transformation of this Arts and Crafts style home has turned, what was once a tired ugly duckling, into a magnificent crafted residence.
The key to the transformation was the re-working of the mansted style roof and breaking down the massing to introduce sculptured elements, such a bay windows and balconies into the roof lines.
Another key driver in the design was the re-planning of the family room over the garage. This room was completely re-planned to showcase its location.
With the introduction of a new verandah both at the front and rear, the room now opens seamlessly out onto these verandahs, and also takes advantage of the openness to the west of the home and its aspects.
