A new home on a sloping site in a bushfire zone with magnificent bushland views resulted in a design that made the most of the site’s features.

Views from the living rooms on the lower level are both to the bushland at the rear and to a sunken front private courtyard which is bathed in northern sunshine. The courtyard allows a good balance of light into the dual aspect living room.
