Our clients in Mosman engaged us to design a new three storey home with views over Balmoral Beach. We worked with a challenging site to deliver a spectacular result.
The home contains multiple living areas, five bedrooms, a separate home theatre and rumpus, and basement parking with lift access across all three levels.
To take advantage of the views over Balmoral Beach, we included large external terraces along the eastern façade. More private secluded terraces also allow views over the rear yard and pool to the west.
This site presented extensive challenges for a large new home. We had to overcome the nature of the surrounding sub-division pattern as well as the sloping topography of the land. We worked closely with our clients and consultants to achieve the design and accommodation requirements of the clients, whilst addressing issues such as privacy, view loss and overshadowing from nine adjoining neighbours.
Sharon and Kwan purchased their 1930s Pymble entertainer home with the aim to renovate. The home had good bones but features such as an external laundry and narrow garage meant that the home needed an upgrade for modern family living.
